The Yakima Valley is our home. 

 

Layci Nelson, our TLC founder,  is raising the 4th generation of Yakima kids.

Dr. John Reeves, our institute director and namesake, became the inaugural CEO of Yakima Chief Inc. in 1997 after a lucrative career with Frito Lay, Earth Grains and Anheuser-Busch. 

 

We are personally invested in the success of our hometown and farming is the lifeblood. 

 

We believe our Valley deserves access to top-shelf AgriBusiness Leadership Development resources anchored in HHART First Leadership principles.  A rising tide raises all ships and our desire is for all individuals connected to farming,  from admin to the fields to the packing houses, to thrive. Everyone deserves to show up to work and be inspired, engaged and motivated and every leader deserves the opportunity to learn how to make that a reality.
